I seem to remember at least a brief period of time where there was such a thing as software sli and crossfire without a bridge

Now, a few of the gpus that supoorted this ended up paired with bridge chips and stuck on agp or pci (non espress)

Question: has anyone done it, from agp to pci (non express)
or
pci (non express) to pci (non express)

Seems like if it truly is software that it could work.

I mean, I’m not gonna be surprised if the final result is slower than a single card haha

that’s not what I’m asking. I’m wondering if it will set up and activate and split the render with the right drivers and card and using pci/agp (non express)

Be damned with performance and practicality! Can it be done is the question!! 😁

As for SLI then https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=376861 says it all!

There is also https://news.softpedia.com/news/SLI-Configura … ibe-49516.shtml and I feel you should have had a quick Google before asking

No, it won't work.
