Just got this board in. I wanted to put my SX-25 in according to these settings for the SX:

CPU clock: 25mhz
CPU clock: 1x??
Other settings according to the table for 486SX/P23S (PGA)

I also checked the silkscreening on the motherboard even though some are blocked by the CPU socket 😀
Found some other manuals and settings but no matter what I get the message: unknown CPU at 48mhz

I tried my DX2-66 and then I get unknown CPU at 60mhz 🤣

What am I missing here??!!

Already found that one but thanks. Got it to report once that it was a 486sx but after that it says unknown cpu at 48mhz again...

Why not post a picture of the board with your current jumpering so we can see what´s possibly wrong?

Powered it on again this morning,first time reported as 80486sx-25,from then on unknown cpu...This really puzzles me. I changed the settings even to 33mhz to no avail.
