Okay, see, here's my problem...

I'm thinking about picking up an old synth/sampler, and the one I'm eyeballing currently claims to support Ram upgrades for storing Soundfonts. When I investigated the Ram used, It claims to be compatible with old Macintosh Centris and Macintosh LC-III Ram. Investigating LC-III Ram explains that I need 72-Pin Simm Ram running at 80ns or faster.

But looking up such Ram on ebay turns up only a few sticks that run at 80ns. Most are 60ns.

I'm terrible with math and numbers, but I I'm remembering correctly, doesn't a lower ns mean the stick is faster? If so, wouldn't a 60ns stick of ram be fast enough for my use?

If anyone could enlighten me about the nature of speeds for old Simm ram, that would be appreciated.
