The ABIT BM6 is basically the same thing as a BH6, except it has socket 370 instead of slot 1 and it only works with Celerons. After updating the BIOS to the most current version, the fastest CPU it supports is the Celeron 600 with B0 stepping.

Over the years I have read occasional comments suggesting that the Celeron 700 with B0 stepping may also work by manually setting the CPU configuration in the BIOS. Today, I can confirm that this does not work. After installing the Celeron 700 the sytem powers up, but the display never starts and POST never completes.

I just wanted to put this out there in case any other BM6 owners were considering trying this.
