The specs is detailed in this PDF: http://pdfstream.manualsonline.com/0/0bf63e18 … f1c4b1ce48b.pdf

Manufactured in July 2007.

It can do 70hz on lowest resolutions 640x350 and 720x400; also 640x480 can do 60Hz & 75Hz. Also 800x600 at either 60Hz and 75Hz

It has Sync on Green too if needed.

Was trying to find a monitor that can do vintage gaming especially DOS.

Anything else?

Great Northern aka Canada.

That should work well ! It does 640x480 and 720x400 which are the most important for old DOS.
Having the 640x350 is a big bonus !
Have you looked thru this "Widescreen and 4:3" topic ? Widescreen monitors and 4:3 aspect ratio compatibility thread
I keep it book marked on my phone so when cruising the thrift stores have a better idea what to look for.
Thanks to Darry, CDE and Bestemor tips have found three good widescreen 16:9 monitors with true 4:3 mode for very cheap (from $10 to $30 locally) in the last year.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

This monitor was a value village find. I was on lookout for early square LCD monitors.

I already have Samsung 170N, even older, that I saved from abandoned shelf after repair at my former electronic repair work for years but didn't run vintage games on it yet. It mainly served as secondary monitor used for bench work to play and test computers, repairing friends' computers and using it for backing up data as well. I don't like taking away my main computer.

Had no luck with finding good monitors except cheap specs like odd resolutions: 1280x900 etc yuk.

Cheers,

You did good ! Some other 19" 4:3 to keep a look out: Samsung 914v, Samsung 930b/940b and Dell 1908FP to name a few.
