Hi,
I needed XTIDE for one of my socket 3 system (Has only ISA Slots) so decided to experiment with it.Here is my steps and problem:
I programmed an intel flash chip P28F001-BXT with my socket 7 motherboard with hotflash method.(I have used uniflash program to write 128KB file.I put xtide_atl to file and filled remaining bits with 00.)
After programming chip i used my 3com pci card to test it on my socket 7 mobo.Configured card with 3com program and set bios address to D000.XTIDE loaded perfectly and booted system fine.So far everything works fine but i needed ISA slot version of this network card XTIDE for my socket 3 system so i moved on to ISA card.

I removed flash chip and installed to intel (ISA) network card.Tried to setup it with SOFTSET2(Intel config program) and set it to D400.But XTIDE is not loading anyhow on same system.(Socket7)
Also tried with other address settings but no luck so far.Tested network card seems ok except it says "no flash" and i assume this is normal behavior or should it say checksum error or something.

Could anyone have any idea?

Ok i managed to work Intel S82595FX with PMC PM29F002 which is a only 5v flash chip.I have erased chip first and readed empty 256KB file for padding. Then downloaded XTIDE bios and configured it with xtidecfg.com.
Inserted configured bios to padded file many times (I am not sure if this is required.) and burned file to the chip with TL866.After installing chip to card it automaticly booted XTIDE.Here is the result:

Tested a 486 system with 8 Gigabyte HDD.Installed Windows 98 to it, works fine. Also enabled ROM shadowing in BIOS.
