Hello all,

Does any one of you still have the Bios for a Idot ID-PCM7E / Via PC2500E?
I searched the internet up and down but only find death links or spam sites:

This board was part of the Via Pc-1 Platform https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VIA_pc-1_Initiative

The problem is that my board seems to have a special Bios for an Access point (EMBOXBIOS V21G) and I cannot get the 2nd PCI slot to work.
The card it self is powered but it does not get detected in any OS so I assume its a soft lock.

Yes all links point to the server from Idot but it is long gone.
To bad the board it self works fine with a Voodoo 3 and Windows 98.
At least the build in ALC665 is not too bad
But I had liked to get my SB live working at the same time.

Winflash or AWDFlash can backup and flash the Bios without any issues

If someone in the Forum has this board and could pull a Bios backup I would be very grateful.
I will see what Award BIOS editor can do.

Good news and bad news.
The good news is I found the Bios for this board cost me 3 Euro but at least I have a working Bios now.
If anyone needs it please send me an pm not sure if I can uploaded it unharmed.
PS/2 mouse works and I got 200 points more in 3d mark 2001 SE .
Bad news is that the 2nd PCI slot still refuses to work.
I have tested various PCI cards but none is detected.
Power seems to be ok.
PCB looks fine no bad solder joints and also no mechanical issue with the slot.
I am not sure how to further troubleshoot this.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
