Recently snatched this pretty little thing.
I knew from the pics that it most likely had a Tandy 1000 RSX motherboard (watched Necrowares #SepTandy vids).
But obviously the case is different, well the frontpanel is atleast.
Also theres a complete lack of Tandy branding.

In a remarkable condition considering the age:

Its not 2 buttons, just the one, And like the real Tandy 1000 RSX theres a complete lack of LED's:

"Ready-To-Run" windows!:

Almost looks unused, connectors are as tight as new:

Volume pot is not scratchy, but just as Necroware notised the sound is very noisy:

"Not for resale" and "-92", when was the 1000 RSX released?

Identical case mounting as the "real" RSX:

Comes with the standard (?) 2.5MB RAM.
I haven't done a component level comparison with a "real" RSX, but it sure looks the same to me.
And BIOS date of 05/13/92

And the PSU is even more pathetic then what Necroware found in hes machine, only 2.5A on +5v...
Well atleast its 240v and still works, and we found a Tandy marking!:

Anyway.
The system works great.
And BIOS looks identical to what Necroware showed in hes videos.

So if not an official Tandy, what do I have here?

Richard Tallen was once associated with this place
https://tallen-inc.com/

The tepcd prepro moniker is unique and no idea what it means
but I’m guessing it’s an customized engineering sample for a resaler wanting to rebrand the machine for a specialty use.

Next my friends 1000RSX had 1mb of Ram, not 2.5.

Whats the "Tallen-Inc" connection to Sweden? =)
Cause "Tallen" roughly means pinetree in Swedish, fairly common name for things like schools and buildings here.

Its a bit funny to see this machine appear here. I saw the auction where it was sold but didn't bid on it.

What kind of soundcard is integrated on the motherboard?

Its the tandy sound, with an unfortunate twist.
Check out Necrowares videos on hes almost identical computer:
