So I've got this power supply, got it a few years ago.
It's a Lead Year Ent. Co., Ltd. Model ES-2150. AT style connectors.
Another sticker tells me "AT&T p/n 008-0072247.

It seems like a bit more than a half decent one as all components are there... But now I want to test it and and I don't know how to turn it on. Silly, isn't it?

There's no regular power switch cable present, so my educated guess is AT&T used the custom connector to power it on.
Colours are black, purple, gray.

Before I get some magic smoke or spark myself: does anybody know the pinout? Does it use lower or higher voltages? I've searches the net but got nowhere.

I have an Astec PSU with a 3-pin power-on connector, so I assume yours is similar. It's a soft-off type of design, just like ATX.

In my PSU, the two outer wires (black and gray in your case) work in the same way as the green/black in ATX, so you can connect them (by using a latching switch) to turn on the power supply. The middle wire (purple) is the +5VSB line and is not used at all.

To be sure, you can plug the PSU to the wall. At that point the standby circuit should be on and you should be able to measure the voltage between the purple wire and ground (+5V). Regarding the other two wires, one of them will be ground (probably the black one), which would mean the grey is the "PS-ON" line.

Thanks! I connected it to the mains and indeed: purple makes +5v and grey +3,6v
Indeed by connecting the two outer pins, the fan starts spinning!
Voltages seem fine
+11.95 / +5.19 / -12,19 / -4,95
Nothing to be concerned about, it seems I've got myself a nice PSU to the collection 😀
