wow, this is quite a huge difference in size... Nice! Also, a PDF with everything, sounds awesome, seeing how all the information about the old logitech stuff is kind of scattered around and hard to come by.

Anyway, in the "Logitech Website FAQ @1999.zip" archive i uploaded, there are also 3 executables, if you want to include them 😀

PS. can you please share the Multilanguage LES v2.1 package that you found?

OMG, where'd you find these files vetz???! Thanks!!

Found them through Google searches, nothing through archive.org. I've spent alot of time trying to dig up drivers and patches during the years, so that helps, but sometimes I'm just lucky.

(That's not to say that i don't still wish for a copy of the bundled CD [and maybe manuals] if anyone has them 😀 )

I agree, we should try and get hold of 1.0 as well, just to complete it! Preferably the whole CD and manual.

Beside that, good idea with uploading everything to Vogonsdrivers 😀

Denied bargains like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Logitech-Wingman-War … ~IAAOSwCh1gO9Zn just piss the heck out of me..
If international shipping would have just cost peanuts, like ordering from China does, (and if the guy would also ship internationally, coz he doesn't) .. I would have just bought this complete(?) package.. (even though the manual's not in Eng, which kinda sucks..).
Instead, i'm just staring at it angrily for like 2 weeks 😠

An image of that disk would have made a really nice addition to vogonsdrivers & internet archive.
Messaged the guy, kindly asking him to make an image of the disk, but hasn't responded 😒

.....let's all spam his inbox!!!

KIDDING!!..kidding!!.. 😆

Hope the seller responds but that is the only thing in the seller list...
Did you offer to pay for a copy of the disk ? Even just copying the files and zipping them up would be good. (is not a bootable disk so an image not required)
Have had good luck doing that in the past but times have changed and it may be more difficult now with covid and other restrictions to get sellers to copy files/take pictures of a manual for a small "donation".
If the manual is not in English it can be translated.....

No, he's got other stuff for sale too: https://www.ebay.com/sch/redfive_de/m.html?_n … =1&_ipg=&_from=
This game controller collection he's got for only $14 is somewhat interesting https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-PC-Joysticks … 0EAAOSwEaxgQow7

I didn't offer him money (though, now in hindsight i'm thinking that maybe i should have). But yesterday right after i posted here, I wrote him another longer message.. translated it into German this time, and I practically begged him..
Hasn't responded to that one either 😒

Ahh ! It was just a thought.
I have to change my original method as to archiving, got all the old FAQ's and made a workable but realized that bundling everything was not a good idea.
So will add to our Library the FAQ's, each version of LES, the early versions of LWS, etc as seperates. Will make it easier if you get LES V1.0.
Thanks ! Love group efforts !

Here's the new/reposted auction. No one bid on it last time. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Logitech-Wingman-War … ~IAAOSwCh1gO9Zn Also in my second message to the guy, i asked for a plain copy this time (not a virtual image like last time)... Forgot to mention.

You know what would be a crazy wicked group effort? If me & 17 other interested members would chip-in like $1 and buy it, and be delivered to a VOGONS member that lives in Germany, who would only pay @ $6 for shipping, and he gets to keep the joystick, but has to upload the CD image to vogonsdrivers.. and also would have to scan the manual and translate it into ENG, and upload it.

I'm dreaming, i know 😄

Yeah, a separate FAQ (that contains everything) might more practical, instead of everything being bundled up together.
Easier to find/notice, and also more convenient for people with slow internet that just want the documentation.

The only thing that i could see bundled, would be particular resources for every game controller.... but even then, the software sometimes overlaps between them, and it might end up just wasting storage space on the server (which is generally not a good practice).

I bought it BTW 😀

Awesome, I hope you'll share the contents on the disc when you receive it?

I also bought the joystick locally, I asked the seller if he had the CD, but that had been lost.

The seller is not really responsive TBH. 4 days after buying it,he finally responded. Parcel still needs to be sent to me.
I'll share the contents ASAP.
Not into retro a lot lately so it might take a while.

AWESOME!! 😁 😁 😁

Are you gonna do an image of the CD and put it on the Internet Archive? Or..?

Manual also, maybe?

Also, does the package contain anything else besides the controller, LES 1.0 CD, and Manual?

(why am I so stupidly excited for this joystick?! 😆 I have no idea! 😆)

Yes the package is here 😀

Great ! If you can image (or even just dump the CD contents to a folder and zip it) and post somewhere I be happy to add it to our Vogons Driver library and put your name on it as the contributer.

ISO has been made and Google Drive link has been sent to Horun to post it in Vogons Drivers.
Hope it works. It's the German edition BTW.
