IBM and lenovo base theirs by 4 digits for model type followed by a dash then 3 characters for pre-configuration of options that were ordered in. If anyone have -CTO, that's custom configuration during order purchases.

Cheers,

Great Northern aka Canada.

With a little bit of luck you can check the original configuration of your machine at https://psref.lenovo.com/WithdrawnBook. IBM and Lenovo were very strict in documenting every possible configuration in their Product Specification Reference.

That helped a little I know from where I bought it is Pentium 4 2.66Ghz 512MB DDR Ram but it didn't come with HDD and the ram is mismatched with 512MB x 2 256 MB sticks one is 266mhz and one is 333Mhz which sucks, the motherboard P/N is 32P2992 and it came with Windows XP Professional cause it has the Key Code sticker on the side. Still can't figure out if it can be maxed out at 1GB or 2GB Ram.

How many DIMM slots does the motherboard have? I suspect at least 2GB and probably 4GB if it has 4 slots, I would use SIV ask it.

What chipset does it have?, if you don't know check [PCI Bus].

I think it's got an 82845G which supports a 512-Mb density so such as 2/4 x https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174347556738 should be fine.

I know it has 2 Memory slots and the chipset should be intel 845G and I am installing Windows 2000 Professional and then going to try and install Windows XP Professional when it is done installing 2000 Professional.

Of course it's XP and also 2000, 2003, Vista, 7 and 8. Check https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us to see which drivers are available.

Looks like I'll have to find a bigger power supply to fit in it cause the one in there is only 160 watts!

Ok I found 2 power supplies that look like they'll be my best options:
SilverStone TX300:
https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology … 17363138&sr=8-4
or this Apevia TFX-AP300W:

I'd personally go with the Silverstone one. I use their power supplies in most of my builds and with the 50 or so I've used I've never had any issues with them.

Just purchased the Silverstone one and now on to buying a dedicated graphics card for which I think I am going to go with the GeForce 6200 Half Height because this Prebuilt is SFF case!

Good their good quality units. The 6200 8s a good card for a low power small system. I remember seeing some 6600s that were half height as well that wouldn't be bad to look for as well.

Nice that card should serve you well in that system.

I am also getting the PCI one for my IBM 300PL 6862 Windows 9x Gaming machine as well.

Nice. I used one for quite awhile in one of my dual P3 500 machines and it performed quite well for the games I played on that system. It may not be a power house card but it runs very cool and had really good compatibility with older directX and open Gl games.
