What glue would you use to fix this IBM plastic bay cover ?
I need something clear like Crazy glue but Crazy glue only acts like a bonding agent.
I want a clear glue that will actually mend/weld the plastic back together.

Chances are that those pieces are made from ABS plastic, or a mix containing ABS.

Use something suitable for ABS plastic.

Other options would be using acetone carefully to melt the edges or creating your own glue melting ABS discarded pieces with acetone.

Loctite makes something similar to crazy glue but it works a lot better. I've used it on plastic such as laptop cases, etc. Loctite Super Glue Professional Liquid.

There is also plastic repair epoxy which works pretty well. JB Weld Plastiweld. That work well if you need to build up parts that have small bits missing.

Yes, I am considering some JB clear weld.
I have used JB weld original and it has never failed for my applications, but I have never used the clear weld.
I don’t know if there is any difference ?
I think I am only going to have one opportunity of glueing this back together using a clear glue where I will
Not have to do any painting.
