As someone whose golden age of gaming was the early-mid-1990s and who lately has been watching too much on Youtube about the same, I'm thinking of trying to use a vintage machine instead of just doing emulation, especially for Lucasarts titles. I don't know if I have room for a real vintage setup with a desktop and CRT and such, but I do still have the Gateway Solo 200 laptop I used through grad school 18 or so years ago, running a Pentium 3 mobile processor, 1024x768 screen, and Windows XP, and I know it works and such (as long as I don't unplug it). But...is there much purpose using it, or is it functionally closer to a modern PC than an early 90s PC to the point that I may as well just stick with emulation?
