Hello,

On Amazon I found a Mainboard. It was manufactured by "docooler". Someone ever heard of them. I assume it's a chinese brand. Does anyone have experiences with their products and can tell something about reliable functioning?

This is the board I've found:

Btw: looks like its BIOS is already patched for 771 CPUs

Considering that any socket 775 stuff is what is currently found in the garbage (ie. people and especially universities throw out machines with core2 by the truckload) buying one on amazon doesn't seem like the most economical choice 😜

Bios-modding a socket 775 mobo for socket 771 support is quite easy, i've done that just days ago using https://www.delidded.com/lga-771-xeon-microcode/ as a reference.

About docooler, no idea. Generic chinese brand? They have other products that look reasonable.
