I have hit a snag concerning my beige build. My ISA scsi controller and sound card are too tall for the case! Any advice on finding a riser or ribbon cable so I can install them horizontally? The ones I saw on eBay Would make the cards face the wrong direction. Should i try to fashion a cable or have a custom pcb built?

Sometimes you find that random used ones were custom and have the bottom connector a couple of pins longer or something, or it looks right then it turns out it was a denser pitch. So the new ones with a cable or straight right angle type you'd be sure of getting one that works with regular ISA slot at the bottom. The cable, you can flop it either way or even at 45 degrees if that's what suits the fit best.
