I got a Socket 7 (M572) mainboard from the trash which is lacking a BIOS chip.
After some googling I was able to identify the board and also find the BIOS data:
* https://www.elhvb.com/webhq/models/pcchips/m572.htm
* http://web.inter.nl.net/hcc/J.Steunebrink/k6plus.htm
Unfortunately I'm not sure which BIOS chip I need. The rom/ami file is 131072 bytes large and thus does not fit onto a 27C512 eeprom.
The rom file has a lot of padding with 0 bytes. Do I need to convert the AMI file or is the 27C512 not the matching chip for this rom?
The only other clue I got is that some users reported that "H.T. M21186 C9748" was initially printed on the Chip.
Do I perhaps need a 27SF010 or 27SF020 ?
Greetings
