In the late 90’s I read several articles about both 286 systems released before the IBM 5170 AT, NON IBM Compatible 286 systems (usually running UNIX) and of coarse multi processor 286 systems like Intels failed attempt at a 286 server.

What started me looking historically was a 4mhz Unisys 286 I had gotten from the scrapper, It was missing the PSU and I could never get it to post. I scrapped it without documenting much about it and at the time couldn’t find any info on it specifically.

I am curious if anyone has any articles about these “failed” 286 systems and servers?
in recent times I have found nothing about them.

Thanks

The Matrox GXT-1000 is a video terminal, not a video card.
