yeah pretty much seems like it.
The PCB is slightly different but i guess that´s just another revision.
However i downloaded the drivers provided from philscomputerlab.com and it crashed the hell out of windows 98.
After the reboot, windows found a new device and a few seconds later the screen goes black and then nothing happens.
In Windows Xp, the setup causes 100% cpu load while it´s not responding but other than this the system still boots up fine.

I don´t care about FM synthesis atm, i just want to get at least any audio out of this machine, unfortunately i do not have anything else atm.
Still waiting for my ESS1887F to arrive from ebay aswell as the ESS Solo-1 PCI which i got for 6€
