Anyway, I’ve recently dug up my late grandfather’s Compaq Presario 4112 and decided to try and get it up and running with a clean install of 98SE. While I’ve gotten most of the proprietary hardware to work, I can’t get the Easy Access bezel on the front of the PC proper to register anything. I extracted the entire QuickRestore disc and tried opening COMPAQ\EASYACC\CPQBZL.EXE, but it gives a rather unhelpful message every time:
