Hello all,

I'd like to replace the keybaord on my LIbretto 50CT, altough I feel my question is probably generic to all toshiba laptops.

Is it possible to change the layout of the keyboard, eg at BIOS level, so that the laptop understands thzat it has gone from QWERTZ to QWERTY (or AZERTY) ?

Obviously I can do that at windows/dos level, but i'd like to make it at boot level (bios) otherwise people won't be able to even type "Y" (as this key relocates)

It's unclear to me how the toshiba laptops "know" the layout of their keyboard, I guess it's set somewhere in a ROM ?
