Hi, I have Chicony CH-471B motherboard and CPU intel DX4. I have two manuals https://www.elhvb.com/mboards/chicony/ch471b/ch-471b.html and https://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/C/C … 86-CH-471B.html

One says that for DX4 CPU the JP45 pin must be 1-2 short and the other says JP45 2-3 short.

Which is correct? Thanks and sorry for my English.

Your board is also documented here https://www.ultimateretro.net/en/motherboards/1261

Looking at the board it seems that the jumper doesn't control the CPU voltage at all so it should be safe to try both settings. Please report back which setting works, this way we can precise it on the page

I have this same CH-471B board.
It is a Rev. 1.0 and was a dumpster find, so I had no manual either. I was able to identify most jumpers, but the purpose of JP45 still eludes me.

I had an Intel 486DX2-66 and an Am486DX4 (non-WB) on it, and the board is now happily running an Am5x86-133 in x4 and L1 cache WB mode. My JP45 setting has always been at 2-3 and I never had to change it.
