Hello everyone

Is there anyone out there who has an Award BIOS image with the chipset code "2A4UK", or an AMI BIOS with chipset code "OP802G-H"
It is for a 486 motherboard with Opti chipset 82C822 and 82C895

Just leaving this message here for others information, hoping that people will actually read this before replying with the same info 😉

The 82c822 seems to be for the pci support.
I checked https://www.ultimateretro.net/en/motherboards/?chipsetId=400 this list for any bios images
There were only 5 boards in the list with pci and thus the 82c822 chip and found none that had a bios image.

enjoy !

Similar to what weedeewee said, there isn't much online. Doing a search on Ultimate Retro for boards with this chipset and it's pci bridge (https://www.ultimateretro.net/en/bios/?chipsetId=666) only brings up an Award string for the Soyo SY-030E2 (07/12/94-OPTI-802G-822-2A4UKS21-00) and an AMI WinBIOS for PCPartner 802G PCI ( 40-0B02-008045-00101111-121593-OP802G-H), but no bios images.
The only rom image available for a board with the 802G chipset and it's pci bridge is for an AT&T board running IBM SurePath. (https://www.ultimateretro.net/it/motherboards/906)

Could you please send a good picture of your motherboard ? It may be an undocumented motherboard waiting to be documented 😀

(Or it's one of the matching board for that chipset. Nevertheless, more pictures don't hurt)

NSSI or Uniflash both can save a bios from DOS....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

This one may be trickier, Uniflash usually supports pentium+ motherboard, and NSSI supports 64KB bioses at most, but this 486 has a 128KB bios, so it might fall right into the spot where there's no software that can dump such bios.

Now it's still worth a check, just in case uniflash manages it.
