hey guys
setting up win98 FE on my Aopen AX3S-U
just wondering why its doing this to me... is this normal? like the mouse moves realllly slow like i literally cant do anything till the file stops copying
is there something i need to do to fix this? like install a floppy drive controller driver or something?
the intel chipset .inf packages i think are only for win98SE... i tried to install and it gave me an os version error..
maybe theres a win95/98FE version but the aopen site is down

Floppy can work in two ways, IO pooling and DMA. Sounds like its running in pooling mode for you?
check System Properties / Device Manager, and select Computer -> Properties -> View Resources -> DMA
irq/dma conflicts?
