Hi everybody, can anyone who owns an Asus P2B-F be so kind and look up the value of the resistor R229 - see pictures attached for location.
I just got the board and this one is broken - looks like from rough storage maybe. If I bridge the resistor the board starts, otherwise it gives no sign of life - but I would be more comfortable not just bridging this but putting the right part back in place. Thanks.
On my rev 1.0 board that's a zero ohm resistor, so bridging is safe 😀
What he ^ said ! On my P2B-F R229 has a O on it and reads o ohms with my Digital Multi meter, it looks exact same as R249 where PCI2 is silk screened. Check yours with a magnifier.
Probably could just jump with a wire. My board is also missing the other odd parts in same as yours and works perfectly....
