Hi,

Back again with another ebay special, I have a VL/ISA-PB486P3 (as on Stason.org)

The board is in very good condition, I can't find any corrosion or broken traces and it comes with an AMI Winbios. I've tried it with a known working SX25 and Overdrive 100 (jumpers set appropriately) and various combinations of known working 30-pin and 72-pin simms.

So far I haven't had any video output at all with a known working ISA Trident card (not VLB - it'll get that treatment once posting), the board consistently halts at error codes D3 D2 (not sure if the one on the left is the last code or the one on the right) and the CPU gets warm but not too hot.

D2 - Disable DMA and Interrupt controllers
D3 - Chipset initialization/auto detect memory

The chipset solder points all appear to be good, as do the 6 memory slots (also cleaned with IPA)

Any ideas on what the cause could be would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Jim
