The model number is HP 9100MX C1114M 9.1GB.

Looking at it, it seems like there's a 5.25'' drive embedded in the chassis. I found one for just around 180 dollars, which is a decent price, so I was wondering if it's possible to mount out the drive and will it have a normal SCSI interface that can be used for internal mounting.

Its likely but there might be custom hardware in that chassis for controlling the drive then again it could just be a SCSI pass through.

If you can find some documentation on line for it you should be able to find out that way, I suspect its just an internal SCSI MO drive in a box.

Yeah, I think so too. But never mind I guess, I was able to find an identical standalone one too. So guess my assumption was right
