I recently acquired this joystick. There's an older topic I posted in but it's better to open a new one.
The joystick buttons can be programmed to work as keyboard keys, basically key bindings.
One connector is for game port, another is plugged in m/b keyb connector for power and signal, the last one is a connector for the keyboard.

I encountered two main issues:

- the keyboard connector (where you plug your keyboard) has false contacts, thus not working properly (if you move the cable it'll send a signal) and the plugged keyboard doesn't work at all (you can see the LEDs light up but nothing else)
- the stick "slips" on the left and in games and you can see a slight move to the left even when not touching anything
if you move to the right it's slower to move in-game

I need to open the connector but don't really know how to proceed to avoid making a huge mess.

In Win98SE and W2K, the custom command program freezes.

Manual + program

Connector on the left is the culprit.
I thought using some heat and cutting through the plastic casing. To be clear, the issue is the cables inside, some must have come loose or disconnected altogether.
