Hello Vogons,
I have found Bluetooth to be extremely useful for file transfers between my Android phone and Windows XP/Vista machines that no longer have compatibility with USB transfers with newer models.

My mission here is to determine whether Bluetooth 2.0 devices (USB dongles, cardbuses, built-in) can transfer files between mobile phones.

I can name a variety of devices that hold support for Windows 98 and ME:
*Thinkpad T41
*UD-300M (Bluetooth 3.0) - This is probably the only Bluetooth 3.0 I've found that claims compatibility with Windows 98
*Blue Diamond Bluetooth Mini USB Adapter (Bluetooth 2.0)
*IOGEAR GBU221 Bluetooth Adapter (Bluetooth 2.0)
*BlueSoleil

I am wondering if anyone here has attempted a file transfer between mobile and PC using this method on Windows ME and earlier?
