It's been a while... do I have this right...?

Audio:

AWE64 Gold RCA Out (L/R) -----> Roland SC-55 RCA IN (L/R)
Roland SC-55 RCA OUT (L/R) ------> Hosa YMR-197 3.5 mm TRSF to Dual RCA Stereo Breakout Cable ----> 3.5mm Out to 3.5mm Input of ACS295 Subwoofer.

Midi:

AWE64 Gameport Midi Breakout -- MIDI IN to SC-55 MIDI OUT;;; MIDI OUT to SC-55 MIDI IN

Will this work correctly?

If I do have this correct I believe I will have no separate control between the game music and sound effects. The subwoofer of the ACS295 has a 2nd 3.5mm Input line. Could I alternatively do:

AWE64 Gold RCA Out (L/R) -----> Hosa CMR-206 3.5 mm TRS to Dual RCA Stereo Breakout Cable -------> ACS295 Input 1
Roland SC-55 RCA OUT (L/R) ------> Hosa YMR-197 3.5 mm TRSF to Dual RCA Stereo Breakout Cable ----> ACS295 Input 2

If that is correct that should allow me to raise both the AWE64 and SC55's volume with the speaker's volume dial while also controlling just the SC-55 with it's own volume dial?
