Hello,
I need to program a SST 29EE010 BIOS chip, which should be compatible with AWARD BIOS CHIP called PCI/PNP 586, for a socket 7 asus motherboard.
Which programmer tool (like ti886) should I use? What kind of procedure should I follow?
Thanks for your suggestions.

My first PC had Windows 98 os.

I've just used my TL866 to flash a SST29EE010 bios this week. I use the Linux software, minipro, but the Windows application should work fine

Make sure that if you buy a TL866 that it comes with the PLCC32 adapter (most bundles include at least that along with several more).

Other than that, it's a modern electrically writeable device so it should just work.
