Hi!

I need help to install Adaptec 1210SA PCI SATA RAID with my Win98SE system.
Its a Sil3114 PCI SATA RAID card with original Adaptec BIOS, developed for Win2K/XP 😉

Currently I try to set up it with original drivers and generic Sil3114 drivers. Yeap, its a Win2K/XP drivers set, but they are install with Win98 (as a Sil3114 drivers as i know reading forums). Sometimes that drivers set up “normal”, sometimes with the “! status”. Anyway attached SATA HDD works only in 16-bit compatibility mode thru BIOS calls.

Are ther any drivers/knowlege to install Adaptec 1210SA correctly in 32-bit mode with Win98SE?

My 3114 has been very, err, choosy about which motherboards it will work with, but until I tried the method in this thread I was having no luck at all. Re: SIL3114 sata card, need ide firmware.
