I stumbled across this presentation from AMD during HOT Chips Symposium 1999 (HC11).
It describes a (never released to my knowledge) AMD K7 NorthBridge with RDRAM Rambus support.

The document indicates chip size and pin count so there was probably at least some internal prototypes (Page 20)
I would love to see an Athlon running on RAMBUS !
Are there any other documents about K7 + Rambus ? I can't find anything else.
