I'm looking to get a S370 board but the two that look in good condition and are not too pricey have VIA Apollo or VIA 694X chipsets. The latter board takes 66 to 133MHz FSB CPUs but only supports Celerons. Is this actually correct, how is it "locked down" like this?

Ryzen 3700X | 16GB 3600MHz RAM | AMD 6800XT | 2Tb NVME SSD | Windows 10
AMD DX2-80 | 16MB RAM | STB LIghtspeed 128 | AWE32 CT3910
I have a vacancy for a main Windows 98 PC

I had one of these and it worked with a 600 MHz Coppermine Celeron as is (though it wasn't correctly identified on POST). With a Lin Lin adapter I was able to run a 1200 MHz Tualatin Celeron.
