I have one of this PROMISE FastTrak S150 TX2plus PCI SATA Controller Card, which is PCI 2.3 compliant
https://www.newegg.com/promise-fasttrak-s150- … N82E16816102016

Just wondering if I can use it in an Asus P2B motherboard? I think the PCI slot only supports PCI 2.1

I assume I can use a PCI 2.0 adapter in a PCI 2.1 slot. Not sure if PCI 2.3 adapter is backward compatible.

"PCI 2.3 compliant" may mean MSI interrupts, not supported in PCI 2.1

Nie tylko, jak widzicie, w tym trudność, że nie zdołacie wejść na moją górę, lecz i w tym, że ja do was cały zejść nie mogę, gdyż schodząc, gubię po drodze to, co miałem donieść.

Yeah. The manual even says "32-bit PCI slot (must be PCI 2.2 or 2.3 compliant)"

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

@jakethompson1 Is there a specific manufacturer you recommended? I google searched and this Syba adapter also PCI Revision 2.3 compliant

Not sure, I use a cheap $10 adapter from eBay on a board with a 440BX chipset. I believe such boards are only PCI 2.1 compliant. That chip is popular because Windows 98 drivers.
