Hi, me again. A mate gave me his old AGP Radeon HD 3450 and I was wondering if it would be possible to get it to run under Windows 98? With it being an AGP card rather than PCI-E... So, do you guys know of any ATI (Catalyst or whatever) driver version that would make this gpu work under Win 98?

Win98 rig: Athlon XP 2500+/512MB RAM/Gigabyte GA-7VT600/SB Live!/GF FX5700/Voodoo2 12MB
WinXP rig: HP RP5800 - Pentium G850/2GB RAM/GF GT530 1GB
Amiga: A600/2MB RAM
PS3: 500GB HDD Slim, mostly for RetroArch, PSX & PS2 games

That won't work in Windows 98.

The last Radeon cards to work in Windows 98 are the X800 series.

MB: ASRock B550 Steel Legend
CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
RAM: Corsair 64GB Kit (4x16GB) DDR4 Veng LPX C18 4000MHz
SSDs: 2x Crucial MX500 1TB SATA + 1x Samsung 980 (non-pro) 1TB NVMe SSD
OSs: Win 11 Pro (NVMe) + WinXP Pro SP3 (SATA)
GPU: RTX2070 (11) GT730 (XP)

Unified shader cards are XP and above only, 98doesnt have the hardware support for them.
For nVidia the Geforce 7000 series cards were the last to support 98, for ATI its the Radeon X800 series anything after these cards is DX10 Unified and wont work even with supposed modded drivers. YMMV with the last two gens of these cards and 98se you will likely need to try a few driver versions to find one that works and is compatible with games.
