Hello again Everyone,

Recently I picked up this serial mouse for my current 486 project.

It's simply called "Supermouse" and it came with its original packaging.

The only thing missing from the box is, sadly, the original driver diskette. It seems it was a 3.5 inch disk judging by the packaging.

The mouse itself

There's no manufacturer data provided with the mouse, I guess it was generic. Does anyone know about who made it and what the original drivers would have been? Obviously I can use some other driver for it but would love to see the original!

Thanks in advance!
Alex

Z-NIX Inc. branded their mice "supermouse" https://www.trademarkelite.com/trademark/trad … 273/SUPER-MOUSE

Clever company. To skirt OEM licensing they sold cheap but obsolete full Windows 3.0 (https://jesperalsed.com/vintageapple/product/ … ft-windows-3-0/) and offered a Windows 3.1 OEM upgrade bundled with their mice to go with it 😜 instant cheap Windows 3.1 :] They even won in court after MS lawasuit https://archive.seattletimes.com/archive/?dat … 25&slug=1503928
