So I have this board.

Board posts but since I don't have 5 1/4 360kb drive, witch I assume it tries to boot from, I'm stuck.

Does anyone know if there is a modified bios for this board that boots from 1.44mb 3.5" floppy drive? Or tools to modify original bios?

On a very similar model with the same BIOS you don't need to configure anything. Just connect a HD 3.5" drive and obviously use a bootable DD disk (or a HD with the hole covered).
If you got the original case/cables you might need a new cable as depending on the original configuration it's possible that the cable only has a 5.25" connector at the end intended for drive A:

Aaaaarrrrghhh!
Been struggling with this whole day... Downloading different dos images writing them from Linux and from virtual Windows tried about everything....
Then it occurred to me that maybe it's just perfectly working Sony 1.44mb drive that just doesn't read 720k formated disks. Took old panasonic drive witch I've been using with amiga and the computer booted first try...

Good job. Yes there are some 1.44mb floppy drives that have issues reading 720k disks.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
