Hello guys,

Do you know of any list of PCI sound & network devices that were done around the era of P3? I am currently trying to build a project and I need specifically Asus to reach my goal. The mainboard is also Asus, namely TUSL2-C. From the network cards I have found only Asus PCI-L101 and for sound car Asus PCI-AXP201 - both can't be found.

If somebody could support with some examples I would be very very grateful.

Well that answers the question I guess :p
There's also an Asus branded isa based SB16 vibra card, in case you want the compatibility. I had one earlier. Sold it, as I'm not too much into vibra cards, though.

Stuck at 10MHz...

That is exactly my goal. I am trying to get all gold-pcb ASUS cards and so far I only have the GPU 😀 If you know more then let me know please. Unfortunately these models are unavailable at the moment.

So I got the cards now on the way to me. I wonder what’s the fastest ASUS branded GPU for AGP in this goldish color existing? Currently I have ASUS V9560 which is FX5600 in reality. I had found out that V9570 existed that’s a FX5700 but I could not find it. I also found an ASUS radeon 9600XT and the PCB is kind of gold but a bit more orange’y.

Any leads?

The V9570 has several examples on eBay. Completely different color.

The V9280 looks to be the same color. GeForce 4 Ti4200... 128MB 8X AGP version

V8420 - 64MB AGP 4X - also came in 128MB version

V9280S - Super Fast version ... Looks to be same speed as the Ti4400.

But I have found some old reviews with V9570 in the gold color so it definitely existed.

Review cards were not always the same as retail.

Here is a PixelView FX5700 that is yellow:

Link to a review with the yellow v9570?

My mistake. The review had fx5700 in it but the photos were actually from radeon 9600.

I think the fastest car from Asus that existed with this kind of goldish pcb is the radeon 9600xt. Nothing more powerful I have found although the color is not exactly the same. Good enough for me.

Yeap! Asus 9600XT is fastest… but not so period-correct.
