Hi,

Hope someone can please advise how I can get Sharp PC-3100 to turn on again. It was working fine, but I didn't use it for about two months and now it won't turn on.

I replaced the backup battery with a new CR2032 and then the (3) AA batteries with new batteries.

It supposed to turn on when you press any key. But nothing happens.

In manual it says to try 'Fn' + 'Esc' and then press any other key to turn on, but nothing happens.

I also tried clicking the 'reset' button on the bottom of 3100.

It seems very odd as it was working OK before I did not use for a while.

Any suggestions as to how to get it working again?

Various devices when they get a real wedgie tend to need a very long press on the reset button 10 secs, if nothing 30 secs, if nothing, holding it while powering on... .

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
