Industrial systems I deal with are kind of picky. I need to find a few ...atleast motherboards.. the are genuinely fully IRQ/DMA ISA ..AT least compliant...I'd rather they just be "true blue" so to speak...I hate jumping thru hoops. Processor speed support...don't care..obviously x86.

It been a shock...even "PC-104" stuff is sketchy compatability wise. It does matter if it's a regular motherboard..PC-104..or ISA card that requires a backplane(we have a bunch of ISA BAackplanes in good condition)

I'm just fed up with guessing..and finding out most of the stuff labeled even PC-104 is more or less pc-104+/lacks some of the IRQ DMA support or requires jumping thru evendybilliom hoops to reach proper IRQ DMA compatability.

So..if anyone has any insight or a direction to point in. I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you!

I will take a peek but it really sounds well removed from what I am after. The further removed from the straight up original 80086 instruction set and it's plain and unbridged ISA bus wire to wire true functionality. The more difficult it is to get software Witten durring that era executing properly and communicating with specialized legacy ISA bus cards in a reliable way because it assumes things about the hardware environment doing some things in nonstandard "computers are new to the world" way.
