Hi there!

Many years ago I acquired a bunch of compact computers. Allegedly these have been used to control the luggage system at a large airport. Naturally no disks were left in the units so I unfortunately don't have access to any old software that might have been used on these. Ironically I found more info when writing this post, info that wasn't available last time I tried to dig into these.

I have not been able to find any sorts of deeper documentation. Motherboards seem to be equipped with a bunch of relays that I assume are tried to the two custom ports at the front somehow and would be nice to know what these can be used for. Also anything else on the motherboard that could be of interest for tinkering.

These work very well as compact retro gaming machines, I used one for it while. Now the DALLAS chips are starting to give in and I'm upping my soldering game to replace them with Necroware ones.

They have floppy drives (hidden behind the black door), 2xISA slots (through riser), 4xCOM ports, 2xLPT ports. Onboard VGA and Ethernet

This is the only info I've managed to find so far:
https://web.archive.org/web/20050206092 ... ksize.htm
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/flytech-a57
https://web.archive.org/web/19971022201010/ht … tw:80/fta57.htm

Last two links I found just now honestly. While it doesn't tell me much more it does outright say that the slots are for EPROM/SRAM and I assume you have to solder in a battery when using SRAM (my boards are missing this, but you can clearly make out the spot where it goes). If I can source compatible SRAM chips and know what kind of battery to solder in then maybe that will let me tinker some more. Assuming I can even access this without any sort of custom software lost to time.

I'll try to post some BIOS / Boot pictures when I can =)

tracked it via your psu model (FT-8050C) to here https://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php … 30936&view=next then the system model (B5-4631-NNN) to the first link

Looks like it could be this one:

So possibly related ^^
