Ah, I’ve done that a few times by accident long as no shorts happen, it’s usually fine, just don’t do it if you can avoid it 🤣

When I was a teenager, I did fry a hard drive once trying to hot swap it…

It’s dangerous, but as long as nothing shorts you might be able to get away with it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it though, especially not if you’re pulling an isa card using an atx 1 power supply…
