I've installed an 8GB Maxtor HD in a machine running AMBIOS v1.24.

The BIOS auto-detects the drive correctly, reporting LBA as "On", but on POST LBA is shown as disabled (an 8GB CF card OTOH works fine), and when I go to install Windows 98 it only creates a ~500MB partition.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get LBA to work with this drive?
