Hello!
I want to build a Slot-1 system with RAMBUS... and a saw this Dell motherboard on eBay.
It has an AT style AUX power connector... is it optional?
The ATX power connector should work with any standard PSU, right?
Thanks!

This is probably the 'standard' proprietary Dell power connector that they used at that time.

Incorrect.

This is Dell power supply pinout and you can buy this adapters online.

Either this adapter or move the ATX connector over (soldering, not easy if you are not skilled with soldering).

Cheers,

Great Northern aka Canada.

Right - by 'standard', I meant the proprietary Dell power connector that is widely discussed in this forum, that has adapters available on eBay, etc. So while it may be quite proprietary, it is also... well-understood... as opposed to some weird proprietary things that might have only been used on one low-volume model.
