I want to give my Asus P2B a little upgrade. So im looking to put in a 1Ghz P3.
Well P3 1Ghz Slot 1 CPUs with FSB100 are pretty rare today so i was thinking about a 370/Slot1 adapter.
But im not sure what to buy here.
First question can i run with a adapter a 133FSB CPU at 100FSB? Are there difference on the Adapters? What i need to look for.

Maybe this helps as info guide:

This is true, but it's fairly uncommon to find a socket 370 board with ISA slots.
I think this and the stellar reputation of the 440BX chipset is what draws so many people to the slocket to begin with.

I just did an Ebay search and the third one in the list of results is Socket 370, Intel 440BX chipset and has a pair of ISA slots for$35 USD (+ shipping).

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You aren't wrong!
I did the same search and found it as well. However the shipping was $25.....nearly the same cost as the board itself.
That's not your fault, and probably not the sellers either. That said the average asking prices for them are normally $80-$100 or so.
I'm just cheap. I refuse to pay current market prices for retro tech, unless it is particularly special or rare. That's my hangup though.

I own about 14 Slotkets. Lots of jumpers is not always a sign of Coppermine compatibility. There are also Slotkets with very few jumpers that support Coppermine and I also have a few Slotkets with many jumpers supporting only Mendocino. About 4 have voltage control.

Pentium III 900E, ECS P6BXT-A+, 384MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 128MB, Voodoo 2 12MB, 80GB HDD, Yamaha SM718 ISA, 19" AOC 9GlrA
Athlon 64 3400+, MSI K8T Neo V, 1GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT 512MB, 250GB HDD, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

That info guide is why I linked to page 3 of that previous vogons thread where you had posted it. Plus there was other good info in that thread as well.

Found the guy hoarding all the slotkets 😁

I just went and checked my computer room and counted 20 slotkets, I picked them up about 5+ years ago and dont think I paid more than $5-$8 for most of them including shipping although I think the ASUS s370-DLs were more about $15 each.

I can agree with what AlexZ posted.

I don't feel so bad now for having about six... or so... I should do a round up, believe I have 2 MS6905s, one shuttle, one asus, one startech one upgradeware slot T... and prolly 5 slots for them to belong in. ... unless I'm gonna go nuts cramming 1.4 Ghz of tualatin in a SFF compaq deskpro for giggles. ... hmmm yeah, the perfect fast enough to be too slow to play crysis rig...

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
