What SiS 96x motherboard is easier to slow down to 486-DX2 speeds?

What platform/CPU is easier to slow down using CPUSPD or SETMUL or other tools? Which one gives a smoother experience? The target speed is 486DX2 (66MHz).

462, 478, 754, 775... Lots of possible platforms.

It must be compatible with DDMA, and the last SiS southbridge compatible with DDMA is 963.

I'm looking forward to hear your opinions and experiences.

Sorry cannot help, do not have any SIS based in any of those platforms.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

It's ok, I'm open to try other brands as long as they are a viable alternative.

I have the impression that SiS chipsets are the most compatible with DDMA sound cards, and since they span across many eras, I'm thinking it would be interesting to try and see if some could be slowed down to a 486-66 speed and see which one is the most versatile.

I was hoping to hear some advice and experiences before starting this project.
