I have the opportunity to get a 2 x ports SATA PCI card.

There is no brand on it, it just says: A100-10C, and it looks like this: https://img.aucfree.com/b405537321.2.jpg

Does anyone know if this is compatible with Windows 98SE? Could not find any drivers online and there is no disc/cd with the board.

Thank you

Referring to: https://teamequip.com/a100-10c-sata-card-t93226/
Unfortunately the only chip you can get numbers off is the pm39lv010-70jce which a is 3.3 volt EEPROM and the board does have on board regulators so might be 5v PCI compatible but no way to tell if Win98 compatible specially since it does not have an FCC ID #....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

If you're going to add SATA to a Windows 98 box, I would go based on availability of drivers, and not on availability of card. If you don't have drivers in hand there's no point.

Indeed it looks like it. Thank you very much I'll dig a bit further but this sounds promising.

Think you want:
SWD-003x12-00W-1361.zip. SiI3x12 32-bit Windows IDE Driver 10/7/2005 1.3.61.0 125 kb
Use this driver with the latest IDE BIOS to access non-RAID hard disk drives, CD-ROMs, CDRWs, DVD-ROMs, and DVD-RWs. Click here for SiI3112 BIOS or SiI3512 BIOS.
OR
SiI3x12A-Serial ATA (SATA) Windows RAID Driver.zip. SiI3x12 32-bit Windows SATARAID Driver 9/21/2004 1.00.51 136 kb
This driver supports RAID levels 0, 1, and 10. Use this driver with the latest RAID BIOS and SATARAID Tool to create, monitor, manage, and access RAID volumes.
Latest SiI3112 BIOS:4.2.50; Latest SiI3152 BIOS:4.3.47; Latest SATARAID tool: 1.19;

Those are the only two I checked (out of a few) that list Win98.....
