Hello Vogons!
I'm working in a new build. These are the specs:
- Gigabyte GA-6BXC v2 - PowerLeap BIOS (powleap3.bin) - Thanks Stingray & Gerwin!!
- MS-6905 Master v2.3 "slocket"
- VIA C3 1.2GHz Nehemiah
The CPU has a 133MHz FSB with a multiplier of 9.0.
On boot the BIOS identifies it as VIA C3 1.19GHz with a weird FSB multiplier combo of 239x5.0.
Please, see attachments.
The motherboard is configured as 133 FSB and 9x multiplier. The slocket is all in auto, jumpers in factory settings.
I assume this is just an identification problem of the modded BIOS. Wondering if everything is ok, do I have to change any settings on the slocket?
Also, there is a jumper on this motherboard call "turbo mode". I haven't found any documentation that explains exactly what it does. Any ideas? Has anyone tested "turbo" vs "normal" mode?
Thank you!
