I've recently stripped a SB X-Fi XtremeMusic and another Netgear GA311 out of a PC, but both their PCI shields are bent. The real problem solver behind said computer was having some issues trying to fit everything inside and just bent it his own way. What would you folks recommend I do to get them back to their original dimensions in the least destructive way possible?

Main PC : MSI PRO B650M-P Ryzen 5 7600, 32GB DDR5-5600, XFX RX 7600
P3 build : ASUS CUSL2-C, Pentium III @ 733MHz (Coppermine), Voodoo3 3000 AGP, 384 MB SDR-100, Audigy 2 ZS, Netgear GA311

Depends a lot on how they've been bent.

a bench vise, pliers and/or a hammer can be useful for getting them back in shape.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Whenever I get graphics cards with bent I/O shields, I take off the shield and depending on the damage, either straighten it out with pliers or bang it with a hammer on a flat surface to flatten it out again.

*EDIT*
Pretty much just said what weedeee said above 😁

If there is nothing protruding in the way, a common practice is to put it between two pieces of wood before applying pressure with a vise or hitting it with a hammer. This also prevents heavy marks.
