guys,
help me clear up my memory of things 25 years ago..

i had a matrox card in my socket 7 system back in 98/99/00

i know this:
matrox
PCI
twin VGA outputs

i thought is was either a millenium2 or a g400..

but it seems the g400 was never done in PCI, but there was a g450 pci
also it seems the millenium2 was never done in twin VGA, from what i can find doing image searches..

does anyone know if the millenium2 came as twin vga?
does anyone know if the G400 was available as PCI?

i also remember is cost me a lot to buy this card and to me it seems the millenium2 was an outdated card (and probably cheap) by the end of 1998, and definately well past it by 2000.. i cant remember the exact year i bought it.. im leaning to the g400..

This https://www.vgamuseum.info/index.php/cpu/item … matrox-g200-mms would almost fit the timeframe, the interface (PCI), the dual output (not VGA directly, but could be used to feed 2 or 4 monitors https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low-force_helix).

I would go for the MilleniumII but the G200 seems, in this case, like a more practical choice.
What connectivity does the MMII's second interface feature?

Matrox Millenium II had only one DAC, therefore only one output simultaneously.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

You don't mix up with the DB26 connector that all the older Matrox Millenium cards had, do you?
About that DB-26 port on Matrox Millennium/Mystique video adapters..
